Set of 5 original drawings by the artist Louis Georges Brillouin (1817/1873). This very well-referenced and documented artist appears in the Benezit and in other dictionaries of painters. He exhibited at the Salon des artistes français and illustrated novels by Victor Hugo. Recognized, medal-winning and honored, he also exhibited in Belgium and his works appear in many French and foreign museums. His trip to Italy in 1846 and 1847 was a great source of inspiration. Three drawings in the lot are studies of trees located in Tivoli. Beautiful set, full of charm and representative of the work of an artist of this period. The dimensions range from 60 cm / 45 cm and 30 cm / 22 cm.
