"Pair Of 19th Century Mahogany Library Steps"
Pair of steps, library stepladder. The faceted base acting as a plinth integrates a retractable drawer covered in leather acting as a step, the body simulates a rudentée column, the circular top covered in leather with small iron decoration forms the second step. This top opens thanks to a hinge giving access to the interior of the column covered with felt. In addition to the use of steps, they can be diverted into a pair of bedside tables, sofa ends but also into planters! The hollow interior allows to accommodate a cache pot containing a floral arrangement. Work from the middle of the 19th century in good condition without restoration!
