Rare pair of handled hot plates complete with their presentation bell in silver plated on copper decorated with palmettes, fruit friezes and flowers, by Jean François VEYRAT master goldsmith active in silver plating from 1820 to 1832 established at 10 rue de la Tour in Paris, hallmark of silver plated inscribed on March 2, 1831, hallmark of silver inscribed on May 5, 1832, crossed out in 1840 in good general condition, wear from time, one perforation, and small shocks from use, good condition of silver plating height 36 (10 + 26) Diameter 25.5cm Width at the handles 32cm
