The composition is stripped down, original on its light background. The touch is light (no impasto) and precise.
The work is signed at the bottom right A. Sanquirico. He is a namesake of the 18th century Italian artist Alessandro Sanquirico. The work is dated 1897.
The work is in good condition, clean. On the back, we note 2 minor restorations, invisible on the front. It is offered in a sober molded wooden frame, clean.
