Two porcelain brush pots with turquoise glaze, with openwork decoration of prunus, bamboo, and pines, “The Three Friends of Winter”. China 18th century
Kangxi period (1661-1722)

The decoration of the one on the right (first series of photos) is particularly impressive, and the achievement of the decorations is far superior to comparable models, and of comparable size that we can see, in terms of sculpture, and richness of the openwork decorations.
Height (left): 10.5cm
Height (right): 10.4cm

For a similar model, see:
- Bonhams London, The Marsh Collection, 7 November 2022, lot 92
- Victoria & Albert Museum, N. Franks.1554 (for a Qianlong dated pot)

Provenance: - M. Tournet, 14 rue Chauveau-Lagarde, Paris

The one on the right (first series of photos) has been restored since broken into several fragments, nevertheless a professional restoration was done, invisible, small cracks in the glaze also cleaned and whitened. There was a lack at the base, which was remodeled, and inserted into the piece. The other has cracks in the glaze which have been cleaned, consolidated, and retouched. Some small glaze defects.
