Ciborium in embossed, chiseled, engraved silver. It rests on a circular foot with a slight projection, the base is bordered by a frieze of pearls. The terrace of the foot is covered with an engraved diamond pattern and decorated with large lanceolate leaves. It has a tubular shaft decorated with two rings in its lower part and a toric knot with projecting sides in the middle. The half-spherical cup is set in a false cup cut out with a lanceolate leaf pattern. The lid repeats the decoration of the terrace and is topped with a flowery cross. The cup and the lid are gilded on their interior. French work from the end of the 19th century. All parts of this ciborium are in silver. 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmarks. Master goldsmith's mark: Demarquet frères Height: 27.5 cm Diameter of the foot: 12.3 cm Diameter of the cup: 11 cm Net weight: 338 g Perfect condition / without shocks, deformations or restorations. Traces of use are minimal.
