Description:
Beautiful “Canterano” chest of drawers with three tie rods, in walnut wood, rooted and threaded.
The top of the cabinet can be opened and allows access to the first drawer that serves as a writing desk, whose front is a flap, and which contains eight other smaller drawers.
The chest of drawers is made of poplar and is veneered in walnut and walnut root, with lighter boxwood threads.
All the hardware, including handles and bushings, is original.
Restoration information
Our laboratory guarantees conservative restoration for each piece of furniture while respecting its integrity.
Each piece of furniture is treated to ensure solidity and hygiene.
In particular, the following are performed:
– structural restoration
– careful anti-woodworm treatment
– cleaning and sanitization of the interior
– external finish with natural beeswax
– internal finish with shellac (natural alcohol-based varnish)
