"Oil On Panel Painting, “view Of Pai, Lake Garda,” By Guido Farina, 1947 Italy"
An oil on panel painting, measuring 44.5x34.5 cm, showing a view of Pai (a hamlet of Torri del Benaco), a small village on Lake Garda, executed by Guido Farina in 1947. The artist has always watched with professional interest the artistic development around him, starting with artists from Verona, Italy to European artists. In this painting, Farina manages to capture the stillness and brightness of the landscape. In fact, the scene is dominated by light and bright colors. In the foreground are boats, typical fisherman's boats, while the village of Pai can be seen in the rest of the shoreline. The state of preservation is good. The signature is present in the lower right of the painting “G. F.” and on the back of the panel there is a dedication: “To the kind lady Iris. Affectionately. G. Farina Pai, 1947.” Features a non-coeval frame measuring 61x51 cm.
