Prestigious Tin Chocolate Mold, Signed Létang Fils, Paris: Chariot Of Venus, Late 19th Century

Large chocolate mold, or nougatine, allowing the manufacture and cutting of a basket centerpiece, in the shape of the Chariot of Venus, pulled by a beautiful swan, and filled with sweet treats. An unusual tinplate mold!
It was, among other things, the specialty of Létang et Fils house, numerous medals on universal exhibitions,
"1867,  The historical report of the year 1867 grants Létang company for having advanced the manufacture of tinplate molds using stamping and a very complicated mechanical tool. The report continues: "At that time Mr. Létang, an excellent worker, founded a special house for export of chocolate molds.
