Oil on canvas, signed lower right and dated December 1882 on the left.
Very beautiful and rich frame of the time in wood and gilded stucco.

*Michel Antoine Vincent Willenich, or Willenigh, born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1827 and died on August 18, 1891 in Paris.
He studied at the Académie Julian in Paris, a pupil of Jules Lefebvre, Gustave Boulanger and Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg.
He made his debut at the Salon of 18704, was a member of the Society of French Artists, and was appointed painter of the Navy in 1835.
He was an officer of the Order of Medjidié (Ottoman Empire).
Several of his works are preserved at the Museum of Fine Arts in Brest.
