SABRETACHE OF THE SECOND LIEUTENANT OF THE HUSSARS OF THE ROYAL GUARD, Restoration (1816-1830). 23604 Sabretache in black waxed leather, flap covered with crimson cloth decorated in its center with a silver-plated brass plaque representing the Arms of France framed by an oak and laurel branch to which is attached the Order of the Holy Spirit, all placed on a bundle of flags. H of the plaque 15.3 cm, width 14.5 cm. The outer edge of the flap is decorated with flat braids in silver passementerie forming numerous volutes to represent a braid, average width 3.5 cm. In the upper part, three half-round silver rings (diameter 2.9 cm, thickness 4 mm) are fixed by patent leather waits. Max. H of the flap 32 cm. Width at the top 20.4 cm and 28.4 cm at the bottom. The central plate is attached to the tab by means of five tabs. Sabretache pocket in black patent leather, H 28 cm, width at the top 20 cm and 24.5 cm at the bottom. It is lined with calfskin, marked with a pen "XXXX", it has the stamp of the Paris city exhibition in ink and the registration number "300177". Complete with two of the three sabretache suspension straps, in burgundy morocco covered with a braid in silver passementerie with two crimson silk threads (width 1.5 cm, length 43 cm) and finished with an oval-shaped silver buckle (H 3.1 cm, width 2.7 cm). France. Restoration (18186-1830). Very good condition, slightly oxidized trimmings and braid, palette has been re-drilled with holes.
