Pair of vases forming cassolettes in gilded varnished bronze by Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892). Very rich chiseled decoration of flowers and fruits (pomegranates, pears, pineapples and apples), garlands and foliage with mythological birds under the handles. Base in sea green marble. Both vases are signed F Barbedienne Paris. Very decorative objects of beautiful quality. Napoleon III period around 1860.
