"Tutti-frutti Murano Glass Vase"
1950s/60s Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by AVEM (Arte Vetraria Muranese), as part of their "Bizantino" series (commonly referred to by collectors as "tutti-frutti"). The vase has an organic shape with multi-colored swirls, decorated with silver leaf, white zanfirico lattice filigree, twisted ribbon canes, and copper aventurine. The whole is surrounded by a red glass inner casing and a clear glass outer casing. Does not bear the label or signature.
