"Indochina - Ber Burgauté Wooden Tray - 19th Century - Width 31.5 Cm. "

INDOCHINA - 19th century. Ironwood top very finely inlaid with mother-of-pearl, the sides decorated with palace scenes, processions and armed horsemen, the scalloped crosspiece centered with a dragon's head framed by clouds, interlacing and leafy scrolls. The top centered with an oval reserve depicting characters in and around a pagoda. It rests on four arched legs joined two by two by a rod (the corners later consolidated by brass brackets). Slight lack of inlay in the corners and on the edge, boards disjointed at the level of the top. Dimensions: 11.6 x 31.5 x 18.5 cm
