Very nice portrait of a young man in the Renaissance style. Oil on oval panel of great delicacy of execution. 19th century Italy. According to the precious handwritten indications on the back of the panel, it is a free interpretation of the famous self-portrait of Masaccio. It is therefore a 19th century creation by a copyist's workshop for the clientele of the Grand Tour. Dimensions of the oval panel: 22 X 15.
