Large Louis XV style office inkwell from the Napoleon III era. Gilded bronze and lacquer with chinoiserie motifs. Decorated with a gilded bronze statue of a Chinese man holding an umbrella in one hand. Painted porcelain binets richly decorated with gilded bronze scrolls. Very good state of preservation, original gilding perfectly preserved, small old restorations and small signs of aging.
