The characteristic silhouette of the bridge and the Seine occupy the central part of the painting. In the foreground, we see several moored barges. In the background, the characteristic silhouettes of Parisian buildings in light stone are outlined. A few bare branches bring verticality to this very horizontal panorama.
The colors are soft, the touch light. Up close, we can see the grids preparatory to the painting. They disappear as soon as we move away from the work a little.
The artist has signed and dated his work, bottom right. The work is offered in a matte varnished mahogany-colored wooden frame, in good condition (a few scratches). It is placed under a mat and covered with acrylic, very slightly marked.
The author of this painting is Raoul Séron, a painter active at the end of the 20th century and until today, who lives and works in the Paris region.
