Willy Daro was a Belgian designer, his work was inspired by nature, with wavy, organic shapes and the use of luxurious materials such as: bronze, agate and glass. He was also influenced by the art movements of his time, such as Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

His works were widely exhibited and sold all over the world, and were appreciated for their quality and originality. He worked for major brands such as Belgochrom, but also worked on interior design projects for prestigious clients such as the Shah of Iran and Prince Rainier of Monaco.
