The craftsmanship is of very high quality, ensuring that these pieces were produced by one of the finest German porcelain companies. However, we have encountered difficulties in attributing these remarkable candlesticks.
The issue is that the maker’s mark on the base of the candlesticks could not be found in reference books. A similar mark was used for a short period by the Conte & Böhm factory, but the style of these pieces differs from their typical designs. The candlesticks also closely resemble the work of another renowned German manufacturer—Sitzendorf—but if that were the case, why is their mark not present on the base?
Regardless, it is clear that German porcelain manufacturers have always been popular worldwide, and their works have consistently remained in demand among both collectors and fine art enthusiasts.
