Orfèvre Richard: Six Silver-gilt Mocha Spoons, Louis XVI Style Pearl Model. 20th Century

Set of six superb vermeil coffee or mocha spoons.

This is the Perles model, still produced by Maison Richard.
The spatula is bordered by a row of pearls partially covered with acanthus leaves. The threaded stem joins the spoon, repeating the pattern of the spatula.

Each piece is hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st title before 1973 for 950/°° silver
. Goldsmith's hallmark: MR with a strawberry for Orfèvre Richard, hallmark used from 1934 to 1994. This house is still in business in Paris.

Superb coffee spoon service, with a classic and elegant design.
