Biography
Artist by vocation but technician by training and founder at heart, Jacques Dufrane drew inspiration from his professional environment. Among a set of small industrial parts, he found the raw material for his creations. His assemblages are, above all, deeply autobiographical. They act as memories and traces, reflecting his life as a founder. Each piece tells a story, extends it, gives it continuity and meaning. In turn, this life experience shapes their distinctive style.
