"Bronze Heron: Alexandre Leonard "
Important 19th century bronze sculpture with brown patina representing a heron by Alexandre Léonard It stands upright, its head tilted back, its long beak almost vertical; the heron apparently puts itself in this position when it wants to blend in among the reeds in order to go unnoticed and thus avoid predators. It is very expressive and its long thin legs rest on an oval base with a naturalistic decoration. H: 30cm W: 28cm D: 12cm Good condition.
