Large walnut wood statue representing Saint George slaying the dragon, end of the 16th century. Missing both hands and the lance. Dragon with iron teeth, hollowed out back. He wears the Morion helmet, which was especially made famous by the Castilians during the Renaissance, notably by the Tercios of the Spanish infantry and the colonizing soldiers, however, it was made fashionable by the Germans in the middle of the 16th century and gained great popularity with all armies.
