This beautiful watercolor is in very good condition, sold without frame. It is signed lower right, not located. The artist Jacque Fourcy (1906-1990) is well known to mountain lovers, especially for his watercolors always very colorful and finely worked. He paints many landscapes of Valais (Switzerland) and the surroundings of Chamonix. I think that this is a Swiss village near Zermatt, without certainty. Dimensions: 36.5 x 26.5 cm.
