The beautiful painting is the work of the Marche sector, with late influences from the Sassoferrato and references to the representations of shepherds and humble people of Mercury Antonio Amorosi.

Born in 1660 in Communanza near Ascoli, according to Mariette.
Died after 1736. 17th-17th century. Italian.
Painter of religious compositions, gender subjects, portraits, animals, frescos.
He came to Rome to prepare for his ecclesiastical career but, encouraged by Giuseppe Ghezzi, he devoted himself completely to art.
He painted frescos in Civita-Vecchia (large hall of the town hall) and altar paintings for the churches of Rome (San Rocco, S. Mary in Cosmedin, S. Egyptian Mary). But it was above all as a painter of Bambocciate, or fantasy subjects, that he unfolded his talent and a true originality. Lanzi declares that if his colour had been a little brighter, he would not have given it up in any way to the masters of the Flemish school. Two of his paintings were encrused by William Walker.
