The grip of the shoehorn is decorated with a large torus of laurel leaves, in the center are engraved the coat of arms of alliances under a duke's crown. They have unfortunately and sadly been crossed out.
The handle is hollow but the thickness of the metal ensures a very good solidity of the whole.
The shoehorn is hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st title before 1973 for silver 950/°°
. Goldsmith's hallmark: AL with a lark on a rock for Auguste Leroy, active from 1891 to 1912
This shoehorn is superb in refinement, such pieces all in solid silver and vermeil are very rare. Enough to put on your shoes with chic and elegance every morning.
