Pierre Sojo Nostalgia oil on canvas 120x150cm Pierre Sojo was born in December 1990 in Pithiviers. He grew up in contact with the works of his father Jean Anguera and those of his great-grandfather Pablo Gargallo. Very early on, he showed an interest in drawing but his first painting lessons were not given to him until the age of 18, by Marc Chalmé, in Nantes. "At the time, learning classical painting did not interest me, I wanted to be modern. Today, being modern no longer interests me, I want to be sincere". Since then, this young painter has taken the time to produce a body of paintings with varied subjects, from mythology to genre scenes. He develops a universe of enigmatic characters who evolve in the light of the landscape as in the intimacy of interiors.
