"Pair Of Naval Officer Pistols, Tulle, 18th Century"
Large model of naval officer pistols called “chien de mer” from the Tulle Manufacture, signed “Gillet à Tulle” on the plates (left - right) and below the springs “Duché”. The intact wood of the stocks is magnificently chiseled with a long-maned “chien de mer”, stamped with a fleur-de-lys. Barrels signed DESAGA, gunner in Tulle. Nailhead ramrods. Iron fittings. Finely worked enveloping mouthpieces in arabesques with a point of aim. Hook counter-plates. Length of the pistols: 30 cm. Length of
