Large CORPORATE MUG in pewter with a truncated cone shape and a flared base, with a slightly embossed relief decoration of oblique gadroons, engraved geometric patterns and a probable mention of a sworn guard with the initials HLO dated 1742; It rests on three skates with human masks and is fitted with a stepped lid with a "ball" thumb topped with a character presenting a shield with the attributes of a blacksmiths' corporation. Unidentified pinkish and numbered countermark on the inside bottom of the creator of the mold
Height: 35 cm.
CENTRAL EUROPE, Mid-18th century.

The fineness of the cast iron induces a fragility of the body and explains small cracks and two holes filled with an unidentified synthetic material; a lateral fold of the edge of the neck is also noted, all visible on the photos.
