Marcel Debut is a famous French sculptor and painter , born in Paris on March 27 , 1865 .
Mr. Debut began his apprenticeship with his father , the sculptor Jean Didier Debut (1824-1893) .
He then followed the teaching of sculptors Jules Lefebvre (1834-1912) and Pierre François Marie Boulanger (1813-1891) .
He exhibited at the French artists fair , of which he was a member , from 1883 and obtained an Honorable Mention in 1895 .
Marcel Debut is considered one of the most important academic sculptors operating in France between the 19th and 20th centuries .
Between classicism and explicit realism , he found an original path .
His style is particularly recognizable in the precision he brings to the details of his subjects .
Marcel Debut died in 1933 .
