"Silver And Crystal Mustard Pot, France 1809-1819"
Mustard pot with two handles in cast, embossed and chiseled silver, resting on a square base with four feet in the shape of lion's paws. The openwork and cut-out mount consists of a rosette, two palmette-shaped pilasters and a reinforced net which forms a circle on the upper part. The hinged lid is slightly domed, finished with a pine cone-shaped grip. The scrolled handles are reminiscent of palm leaves. The removable interior, in crystal engraved with cups, is original.
