Antique Hanging Puppet Set

Rare set: They are squeezed eight each in their lodge in the original cardboard box… The unmarked lid has suffered from childish handling but too bad. On the other hand, the white ceramic puppets, painted and adorned with their beautiful costumes are in very good condition. I imagine the little ones assigning themselves roles and manipulating the dolls as best they can, 3D avatars of their imagination. I discover a queen mother, a bearded fifty-year-old king, his doctor with a white collar, his hatted minister, his cousin who has matched his headdress to his tights, his nephew ready for hunting (he left a finger there by the way), the king's son also bearded and of course the helmeted guard who watches over this little world. The set is accompanied by a sketch of a small wooden theater which remains at the buyer's discretion. Rare collector's set where the paintings and clothes are original. They measure 19cm x6cm x3cm
