Oil on canvas by the post-impressionist painter Adolphe Clary-Baroux, depicting a bank of the Seine, probably near Ivry, where he painted many banks of the Seine. Here we find in a striking way the influence of his friend and mentor Alfred Sisley. Work signed lower left and countersigned and dated in pencil on the frame "August 26, 1903".
