Expressionist painter, his works meet with great success. He works on several themes including the streets of Paris, clowns or Venice. The quality of his work allowed him to acquire the friendship of personalities as different as César or Yves Montand, Lino Ventura or Baron Empain. In the 1950s, he was one of the spearheads of the Paul Petrides Gallery. He exhibited all over the world from Japan to the United States, sold his paintings to the Aga Khan, the King of Morocco, and Hollywood stars like Yul Brynner or Ava Gardner.
