Adorable Art Nouveau vase in multi-layered glass in the shape of a baluster from the series La Ligne Bleue des Vosges. This series was published to mark the exile of the Alsatians to Lorraine during the war of 1870. This vase with a widened pedestal features a finely chiseled decoration of lake landscapes: watering hole, fir trees and Vosges mountains. Bright and spring colors in green and blue tones on an opalescent yellow background with a purple nuance towards the base. Cameo signature Gallé in the decoration.
