Rectangular embossed and chased silver box resting on a small base, with rich decoration on the main faces representing various scenes of putti in nature. On the lid, the putti are represented as artists. The side faces show putti in idyllic scenes of love, lying down, seated, leaping or holding flaming torches. Goddess heads among cornucopias or framed by a development of foliage adorn the edges of the lid. European work from the mid-19th century. French import hallmarks "weevil". Silver at least 800/1000.
