Brass mounting, cap with laurel leaf border along the short tail.
Thirteen-groove handle in brown horn with remnants of copper wire filigree.
Rounded joint arch, three joined branches, rolled quillon, control marks.
Openwork top with carved rosette and plant motifs, stamped ‘6467’.
Straight blade with central grooves, marked ‘Mre d'Armes de Châtt 8bre 1876 adjd d'Infrie Mle 1845’, control marks, leather tie.
Scabbard out of iron with a bracelet of bélière, stamped ‘6467’, punches of control.
