"Handled Trepan By Gasselin, Circa 1910"
Large trephine or trephine for neurosurgery with crank and handle. The instrument is signed "Gasselin Paris" and it measures 37cm in length. The handle, a rather unusual design and used to reinforce the support and the force of the surgery, fixed opposite the crank turns and is rotatable. It cannot not be used.
