Bronze ram's head with nuanced patina, cast in the 19th century after a Renaissance model.
Height 6 cm
Width 9.5 cm

This ram's head is inspired by a model created as a candlestick ornament by Riccio and then cast separately on numerous occasions during the Renaissance. In addition to the one kept at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, similar examples are kept in Bologna (Museo Civico Medievale) and Rome (Museo del Palazzo di Venezia).
