Pair Of Venetian Glass Wall Sconces From The 20th Century

This pair of Venetian mirrors, dating back to the early 20th century, is crafted from hand-worked glass, typical of the Murano tradition. The mirrors have a shaped design, framed by three-dimensional floral decorations in transparent glass, twisted in a torchon style.   The central part features engraved mirrors with stylized figures: one depicts a gentleman wearing a hat and holding a cane, while the other portrays a lady in an elegant gown. Both figures stand on finely engraved decorative pedestals. The mirror surface is further enhanced by an inner frame adorned with engraved leaf motifs.   Each mirror includes two glass candle arms extending outward. These arms end in delicately crafted transparent glass candle holders.
