"Hokkai Japan Box"
HOKKAI box (picnic box) in black lacquer resting on four feet decorated with gilded copper fittings decorated with scrolls. Japan late 18th century at the latest early 19th century. Wear of the gold decoration on the lid. Missing on the internal border. This missing part disappears from view when the lid is put on. Beautiful decorative object that has acquired a beautiful life. Delivery at the buyer's expense.
