"Marquetry Mirror Attributed To Noël Hache (1630-1675) Louis XIV Period"
Beautiful mirror with reverse profile in marquetry of native woods attributed to Noël Hache made with shading following the technique of wood burned with hot sand. Richly decorated with scrolls, floral scrolls, foliage and acanthus leaves, it has in the corners, four heart-shaped spandrels. The central molding in blackened wood imitating ebony, decorated with small alternating threads of light wood, frames the mirror. Work of the 17th century circa 1739, in perfect condition.
