Important and rare bronze second half of the 19th century.
DEVIL in a cauldron with handle.
The devil's head protruding from the cauldron is framed by bat wings.
Used as a pocket emptier, composed of 4 elements: bronze base on black marble, bronze lid, brass interior and brass under lid.
Dimensions:
H: 23 cm max.
Diameter of the cauldron: 12.4 cm.
Black marble base: 13.8 x 13.8 cm.
