Bronze architecture, gilded with a very beautiful mercury gilding in matt gold, very finely chiseled and distributed over its set of contours of gadroons, palmettes, row of rectangles. Four round columns whose bases are chiseled with laurel leaves and capitals chiseled with gadroons. The upper part and base are decorated with finely worked friezes of laurels, palmettes and winding.
The most attractive is the richly chiseled hexagonal dial occupying the space between the columns as well as a precision balance known as "Berthoud"
Original mechanism without modification, striking of the hours and half-hour on an old bell.
