Very fine pair of Empire period candlesticks attributable to Claude Galle (1759-1815) or (Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843).
Rare model representing three heads of women wearing plumed helmets in armor surmounted by a socket and bobeche with chiseled decoration.
They rest on a ringed shaft decorated with different rollers ending with feet corresponding to the busts placed on a round tray with a very fine pattern. The base decorated with warrior trophies: helmet, lances, sword, shield, armor, axe, pick on a matte background ends at the edge with a diagonally beaded roller.

NB: small hole on a base in the decoration.
