Fine William and Mary Burled and Figured Walnut Secretaire Chest. A fine quality small late 17th/early 18th century (William and Mary period) secretaire chest. Featuring highly figured veneers throughout, it features an ogee card drawer on a drop-leaf front opening to a finely fitted interior, with a central perspective door opening to three internal drawers. Surrounded by 14 additional drawers and three concealed drawers. A fine emerald green velvet lined writing surface and a lower case with four long conforming drawers, fine gilt and engraved brass handles and escutcheons throughout.
