Important Napoleon III bookcase in blackened pear wood, opening with two doors, decorated with numerous brass inlays. Each door has a two-thirds glass pane, surrounded by a molded rod on the inside and several brass fillets of different widths. On the upper part and on the lower panels, these interlaced inlays form Greek corners. The entrances, keys and lock at the top and bottom are original and in perfect working order. A chiseled joint cover joins the two doors. This bookcase has pilasters representing uprights with stopped fluting and rests on spinning top feet dressed with brass collars.
