Short, curved, double-edged steel blade, ending in a point; middle edge.
Spindle, called saifani, in silver engraved with floral motifs, brown horn plates.
Wooden scabbard covered with chased silver, stars and green velvet on the reverse.
Hoop rings and suspension chains.
A symbol of prestige and the social status of its owner, this weapon, whose handle and scabbard are particularly well decorated, was also worn as a male belt accessory.
