This self-portrait was painted for Charles Claude Flahaut de La Billarderie, Count of Angiviller, director of the king's buildings. Seized during the French Revolution, the work is now kept at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
The very affectionate embrace between the mother and her daughter is perfectly faithful to the original work and from a technical point of view, the colors, shadows and the finesse of the line are remarkable.
A charming and old object, easy to place at home in a library, on a dressing table or to give charm to a lost space!
