Very decorative clock from the Napoleon III period around 1860. Harmonious architecture composed of sea green marble decorated with two friezes, in gilded and chiseled bronze, one with palmettes, rosette and flowers and the second with a drapery and garland of flowers. The central part is composed of four round columns framing a glass cage with four thick and beveled panes, consisting of a front and rear door. Clearly visible interior, occupied by a large pendulum with the effigy of Bacchus and bunches of grapes, white enamel dial highlighted by a guilloche outline.
Original mechanism without modification, striking the hours and half-hour on gong.
